Growing Kids God?s Way: A Core Curriculum Review

In the sea of shifting morality, were does the weary parent find a safe harbor of thought? It can be found in Biblical parenting. Biblical parenting is the language of God in the soul of children. It is the means by which God communicates His grace to the families of the world and through the Christian family, He communicates His presence to the world. GFI is pleased to offer God-centered parenting curricula for the home and church.

As one of the oldest and most prominent parenting ministries in the world, the Growing Families International parenting course are both ground breaking and life changing. Today, millions of families from around the globe speak to the positive impact of Growing Families International and its life changing curriculum. Growing Families offers six core curriculums covering infancy, pretoddler, preschool and early childhood, preadolescence, and teens.

Publisher's Note About “Let the Children Come” Series
It’s not an easy decision to make changes to a series of books that have impacted over three million parents and twice as many children. In fact it’s risky. But as authors and publishers, we are willing to take this risk in order to bring greater continuity to our overall presentation of each curriculum.

Prior to the reorganization of this series, Growing Families International offered the following curriculums: Preparation for Parenting; Preparation for the Toddler Years; Growing Kids God’s Way; Preparation for Adolescence; Reaching the Heart of Your Teen; and Reflections of Moral Innocence. In the past, the six curriculums were tied together by a single diamond shaped logo on the front cover of each workbook. We felt this to be a vague and insufficient connecting point. To establish the continuity of the series, a decision was made to utilize a single series title, “Let the Children Come Along the . . . Way,” The complete titles are displayed on the left side button bars.

To our long time constituents, please know that our desire is not to eliminate the old titles but make them part of an all-inclusive series. Growing Kids God’s Way will still be referred to as Growing Kids God’s Way, but as an independent curriculum, it is now the third part in the “Let the Children Come” series. Preparation for Parenting will still be referred to as Preparation for Parenting, but it is now the first member of the six part series. Regardless of what title you choose out of convenience, overall it is the same hopeful message of God-centered parenting being delivered to a new generation of moms and dads.
